Two ex-Harley hands, a Brownsburg garage, and 84,300 SKUs later — meet the people behind BBS King.
Craig Bellamy sold Harleys for a living. KB Klemish turned wrenches on them. In 2007 they opened a 1,800 sq-ft garage off C.R. 900 E. with one promise — fit the part right, ship it fast, pick up the phone. Seventeen years later that promise runs a 220,000 sq-ft distribution center, a 143-person team, and the largest single-warehouse powersports catalog in North America.

The Garage Years (2007 – 2011)
Craig Bellamy walked out of his Indianapolis Harley-Davidson dealership in the spring of 2007 with a rolodex of 4,200 riders and a frustration — parts sourcing was a phone-tag nightmare. He called KB, his top service tech, and within ninety days the two had leased a 1,800 sq-ft metal building at the end of C.R. 900 E. in Brownsburg. No retail floor. No showroom. Just pallet racking, a parts counter, and a toll-free number answered by the founders themselves.
The first catalog was a 24-page PDF printed at Kinko's. It listed 1,140 SKUs — all hand-verified against fitment data Craig had pulled from his dealership's service department. Riders bought. Parts fit. Word moved through the Midwest ADV and V-Twin scene like a backfire down a country road. By year three, the catalog had crossed 18,000 SKUs and the garage roof was leaking.
The Warehouse Era (2012 – Present)
In 2012 the operation moved into its current home — a 220,000 sq-ft distribution center at 4880 N. C.R. 900 E., Brownsburg, IN 46112. The team grew from 9 to 143. The SKU count climbed past 84,300 across 47 motorcycle marques. Crucially, the founders kept a non-negotiable on the org chart: every fitment claim in the catalog gets reviewed by one of 12 ASE or 3 TÜV-certified in-house motorcycle technicians before it ships.
The 2023 build-out is what most riders actually feel. BBS King invested $2.4M into a custom fitment-graph database — VIN, model-year, and OEM cross-checks for every US-spec motorcycle from 1980 onward. That engine is what powers the fitment guarantee on every product page, the free-return policy on a wrong-fit SKU, and the 38-second average phone wait time when a rider calls and asks a human whether a particular part fits their bike.
